Feros. Dark movement was sensed within the depths of the cave, large figure could just be seen making it's way to a standing stance, before wandering toward the entrance. Maw would pierce through the darkness, but then Fae would stop. Her colors were unrecognizable through the liquid-like, dark, foreboding entrance. "Good morning, Okaze." Fae would say; Large frame shifting as she sat, ever remaining within the darkness. She didn't want him to see her this way, and, although tempted to run up to the fen and hug him hard, she refrained. Maw seemed like a knife in hot butter as it pierced the darkness alone. Should the male approach, Fae would let rip a growl more terrifying than any beast in the cove. Secretly, she didn't mind him coming in to see the pup, as he would be fathering him, but, she truly did not want him to see how close she was now. Not now. It'd be too much for him.
Okaze's ear flicked, head turned some but not fully, eyes on something else. "Good morning, love. Are you well? Hungry?" Back was turned to her, and he held a steady tone. Something was up though; she wasn't leaving the den fully, and he could sense how unsure she was... or was that worry? Tail flicks some and he tucks paws under his chest. "What are you hiding, Feros? You're upset about something... is it the pup?" Head turns, craning neck around to look over at her over his shoulder, ears flicking some at the weird angle.
Feros. Maw would disappear into the darkness as Capitulum yearned toward earth. "Okaze..." Fae would pause, turning Capitulum to the side and cringing her eyes slightly in a sad manner. "... It's about me." Maw would reappear through the darkness as she turned her head back; croaky voice from the night before as she spoke. "I... I fear there's not much left in the world for me..." A single tear would run down her face as she silently cried just a little. However, droplet was not obsidian as usual. 'Twas silver, as it glinted from the light reflecting off the darkness, dropping do the floor thereafter. "I've grown old, and wise... I have strengthened since a child, no longer naive as I was. But... All things must..." Fae would stop herself. Capitulum aimed to the ground once more as another silver tear befell from face.
Okaze's ears flick as the boy sits up. Death? He loved her, sure, more then anything... but with death? He wasn't afraid of it, and didn't understand why others were afraid. It wasn't something to worry about... it came and it brought peace to most. "And when the time comes, my dearest.." He'd stand and move over, ignoring any growls and attacks she gave him should she. "...you'll not feel pain and fear, nor hardships. You'll be at peace, as any are. You have nothing to fear, or worry about." Head moves to try and nuzzle her, carefully, with a soft 'churr' in his throat.
Feros. Bitch growled fiercely. Even a snap was given; But it didn't deter the male. She remained seated as the fen wandered up to her, before nuzzling Fae. She would whisper in his ear as he did so. "I don't fear death... But... I just didn't expect it would accelerate so much." Fae would say; deep boom was not present, but instead a depressing monophonic tone aside from her usual demonic polyphony. As Okaze would back up, Fae would speak, stepping out as she did so, Capitulum arched downwards as to not hit head upon the top of the entrance. "I'll be dead within the next year." Colors would then reveal themselves; much lighter, closer to death than ever before. "Our lives are strange things, my child. They are destroyed as quickly as they are created, and we cannot predict how or when they will end."
