Acquiescent. Large male would sigh loudly, gaze belay 'pon the steady, calming lapping of liquid on earth. Why'd it have to be me? Male would wonder, seeking answers in the waves. It had been a while since Taija had done his bidding, and Pelt had grown over the old wound, hiding evidence of such an injury. Capitulum tilting t'ward earth, another sigh would be heard from effeminite larynx. For a moment, all was silent. Even the seas daredn't speak. Lifting capitulum and gaze t'ward the heavens, voice of fallen divinity emitting. "Why'd it have to be me? What is it about making me feel hurt that makes you so happy, Fenriswolf? Speak for yourself!" A pause. No answer. Capitulum to earth once more, Male would sigh again; Small, Salty Tears rolling down Feminine face as Male's own entity radiated the bitter obsidians of depression. "What else are you going to throw at me? Love is a lost cause, my own family sees me an enemy, and I serve no purpose. How far must you go before you're satisfied?!" Male would emit, cursing disloyalty at his own Deities. Nobody wanted him.
Clawspawn. A low growl emmitted from the beast's chest as he wandered the territories. Ears perked as a familiar voice hit him. Head tilted, it'd been a while since he'd heard this voice. Quickening his pace, he headed toward it, yearning for a sense of familiarity. "Ace," he barked as the younger wolf came into view. Anger flared, what had his son so down and out? As he drew closer he noticed his son was missing something.. But what could it be? His lips pulled back in a grimace. "What's wrong with you?" Beast paused, tail swaying slightly before raising to a dominante position and the rest of his body followed in suit. Regal, he could be called if his coat wasn't so shaggy. He'd been traveling so long that his once ageless self had grown grey around the edges. Though, once he settled down he'd regain his youth.
Acquiescent. Male would tilt capitulum in surprise as another voice was registered. It wasn't the Fenriswolf. "Father..." Male would tilt capitulum away, shamed by hiimself. He was in a wreck, and didn't want his father to see him like this. Gaze to earth, Male would speak. "I am sorry, father. As your only living son, I've..." Capitulum would tilt in the other direction to his father. "... I've failed you and shamed our great heritage." Tears would continue to roll down face, before Male rolled to lay down 'pon side, revealing that which was missing. "Taija... He took my Pride and Parenthood. I didn't want you to see me like this..." Gaze belaying 'pon his father, Male would pause a moment, before adding. "... I am sorry, father. I have shamed the family with my love for Ukranie." This drew Male into a state of further depression, tears forming a steady flow as he had shamed his father and his family.
Clawspawn snarled, pushing forward with a fierce determination. He sat abruptly with his son's side against him. Stepping over him with one paw, he let out a soft coo one wouldn't think could be heard from such a monster. "My son," he murred, "Don't fret, you couldn't shame me in such a way. It's in no way your fault." His tongue rolled over Ace's nape breifly before he tensed. His voice came in a venomous growl, then. "What of your sister, Rafe? How could she let this be done to you..?" Thoughts went back to Rafe and Tai, they were mated were they not? How could she let such a fate befall her younger brother?
Acquiescent. Male would relax a little as soft embrace came 'pon nape, his father's words soothing damaged pride. Male would combat his father's growing anger for his sister. "Please, father, do not blame her. She was at the long hunt. She had, and likely still has, no knowledge of this..." Male would tilt capitulum t'ward his father, gaze belaying on the larger male that was Clawspawn. "Taija did not tell her. She cannot be blamed for what has happened in her absense. I cannot tell her myself. After Taija did such, I was given Omega status..." Gaze turning away from his father once more, Male would pause for a moment, chillbit breeze rolling in from the nearby mountains. "I left them. I do not suit the rank, and I can't face her with such shame on my shoulders. So I left. I'd be treated an enemy if I returned there again." Shifting into a slightly more comfortable position, Male would cease speaking, allowing his father to say any such replies. Long silence would ensue, gaze remaining still 'pon great ocean. "You see now why I serve no purpose. I cannot live the entirity of my life as a loner, Father."
Clawspawn hopped over his son before laying down, to avoid laying on the hard rocks he'd been sitting atop. Still fuming with anger, he too gazed to the sea. "I've been there, quite recently. though I hadn't spoken to anyone, I noticed Tai's scent had been fading. I thought nothing of it at the time, but perhaps he's fled." He murred, turning his head to bump his muzzle under his son's. "She's your sister, you're family. Broken or not you can't leave them, and she shouldn't turn from you. You've done nothing wrong." A huff escaped him, perhaps he should return too..
Acquiescent. Male would reply, a slight bitter nip in the his tone as he listened to his fathers words. "How am I to stay with my sister if I can't get near her, Father? They'll attack me on sight, you know that!" Sigh would emit, capitulum tilting away from his father. "It's not like I can waltz right up to the den entrance screaming 'Hi guys, I've missed you, how've you been?' If you have any better ideas, don't hesitate to share." Another Sigh, and Male would roll onto his side once more, slender, effeminite form expanding and retracting with each calm breath. "It's not like you can look after me, anyway. I'm nearly Two and a Half years of age now. They'd probably attack you if you took me with you, too."
Clawspawn. A snarl broke from his maw as he took his son's words as rather insulting. "Running off like a whimpering coward wouldn't be my first choice." He returned to his calm deminer with a brisk shake of his massive skull. "So, why is it that you're banned from Wolfbane? Is it only because of your atraction to Ukranie?" His tail flicked, he'd been without contact for so long his patience for chit chat had worn thin. This was good though, a wolf was meant to be around others. A shame that it wasn't under better circumstances.
Acquiescent. Male would growl a little, akin to a grumble, at his father's words. "I'm not banned from Wolfbane. I left, because I don't deserve Rafelie's time. I was an Omega, father, an Omega. I can't raise a family, I can't gain a rank, because Taija didn't like where the path of my heart had lead me. Right to the front paws of Ukranie." Male would sigh at her name, a moment's pause before adding once more. "I don't want to leave them, father, but I couldn't go back even if I wanted to. You know they don't take kindly to ditchers or exiles, and you know they'll kill me if I get within the borders. I have no chance of getting within 20 miles of my sister, or any of the pack, unless they were off home turf." Tail would flick as Male calmed from his slightly irritated tone. Dwelling 'pon what he no longer had was a most unpleasent endeavour indeed. "If there were a way, I'd take it, but unless there is one, it's just too dangerous."
Clawspawn snorted, not liking that Ace was right. How would he gain his sister's aid if they'd chaise him off when he'd arrive.. "I doubt they'd kill you," he murred, thoughts rolling about his head. "You are of royal blood after all, brother to current alpha and son of former alpha Jade. But this is quite a predicament. Have you spoken with Ukranie? How does she feel about all this?"
Acquiescent. Male would sigh as his father spoke of Ukranie. "Yes. I asked her to come with me. She fainted. I moved her to the den over there." Twisting Capitulum, Male would avert gaze to the nearby den. After a moment's pause, male would add. "So, as of yet, I have no answer." Another sigh would emit at his father's former words, depression stabbing at his mind. "I know I am of Royal blood, father. That is why I have shamed it. It has been stained with commoninity. Such a lowly rank as to be Omega, father. Omega! It soils the name Clawspawn!" Gaze away from his father. "I soiled our name because I loved, father. I loved, and I got punished for it. That's how it is. That's how that Tyrant Taija willed it to be." Male would hurt a little at the name. Taija. "If you want anyone to blame, it's him."
Clawspawn's lips pulled back as he snarled the words "Taija's will means nothing to me, nor will any of his doings affect our name." Sharps talons dug into the sand as if tearing the flesh of one he'd not known to be so crule, this, Taija. "I've a few choice words for your sister, and an exicution planned if I ever cross paths with Taija again. He was wrong to do this to you," Claw gave a shake of his head then lowered it to his forepaws, weak with travel. He sighed warily, unsure of what to make of the situation..
Acquiescent. Male would emit an effeminite giggle. "hehe. If you even cross paths with him, make sure I'm there. I'll relish doing what he did to me, and worse." Yawning, Male would wait a moment. A minute or two of silence would pass, before Male would bat a paw at his father, smiling. Standing, he'd encourage the other Male to play; Something he'd never had the opportunity to do with his Father before. "Comon, you old Fart, catch me if you can! Hahaha!" Laughing, Male would sprint as fast as his legs would take him, features on land blurring as male tore past them in a bolt faster than many could imagine. "Got the endurance of a Scout? You might stand a chance at catching me!" Male would laugh once more, waving tail teasingly at his father.
Clawspawn's ears pulled back. "Indeed," he'd hoped he'd get the chance to exact his son's revenge.. A brow twitched as his soon batted them, then stood. Grinning, he stood as well. Tail flicked and he took chaise as his soon took of. Breath coming in steady huffs. "C'mon!" he barked, picking up the pace. Brute was larger than his son, that meant for longer strides, but his bulk slowed him a bit.
Acquiescent. Male would tease further, laughing as land sped by. Pushing down on powerful limbs, male would attempt a fast, strong sidetrack, much like deer do in the chase, and head t'ward the trees. His father would struggle to catch him in the dense shruberry. "You can't catch me, I was the fastest scout in the pack! Hahahaha!" Having had gaze 'pon his father behind, male had paid no attention to the gorund infront, and tripped 'pon a small rock. A few feet of flight before freefall, and male would twist in air, landing 'pon his back, laughing at his own failure, and the father whom had likely closed in upon him now. Male was in seraphy. He'd never had the chance to enjoy playtime or socialising with his Father, having been away from him for most of his life. Today was a most special memory, and one that would stay with him for many a year.
Clawspawn's drift was slowed by sharp tallons catching the soil and leaving deep gouges. For a beast his size he was rather swift, though not silent, in the chaise. So long of being a rouge had built his stamina as well. A playful growl escaped him as he blew through the shrubbary, plowing through smaller plants while trying his best to avoid the larger ones. He spied Ace trip up again and took it as his only opportunity. A howl burst from him as he kicked up his speed, in case Ace were to right him self and take off again, then he'd go to tackle his son, rolling to obsorbe the impact to not injure either of them, and nip at his thick neck fur playfully.
Acquiescent. Male would brace for impact as his father prepared to tackle. 'Pon impact, the pair would roll for a while, laughter ensuing as he and his father did what should have been done years ago. After a while of rolling, Male would lie on his back, gaze 'pon the stars. Twisting capitulum to the father to his right, Male would speak. "Looks like you caught me, afterall. Hehehe." Thoughts turned to memories of his sister, and how they used to play when he was a pup. "She used to be so happy before Mother died, you know. When she cared for me, like a mother, she had much more soul in her. Recent events have really drained her." Sigh would emit, silence engulfing the pair as Male gazed unto the heavens, wondering which star was her mother's soul.
Clawspawn's chest rumbled with laughter. As the rolling stopped and both lay on their backs he let out a sigh. He felt a tinge of pain as Ace mentioned Jade, he still missed her sometimes. "Who.. Rafe? She'll pull through." He was sure of it. So with Ace and Rafe, how many of his spawn had survived? Were they the only two? "What of your other siblings, have they survived the years? Or have they passed to be with mother..?"
Acquiescent. Male would listen intently to his father's words, Effeminite Larynx speaking also in reply, ensuing a sigh beforehand. "I am sorry, father. Rafe and I are all that's left of the Wolfbane Litters. Some representatives, eh?" Another sigh. Male had never met all of his siblings, only Rafelie and his brother, whom had passed when he was but a mere pup. Giving a comforting nuzzle, male would add after a moment's silence. "Atleast you and Rafe are still alive. Even if the rest of the family are up, gazing down at us, atleast I the best two are still with me here in the world of the living." Smiling some, male would twist, moving to lay Capitulum to rest 'pon his father's paws. He'd never spent so much time with his father, and had always respected him, even when he wasn't with him. Closing lids over oculars, Male would remember the times in which he used to wonder what his father was like; What he looked like, how tall he was, what his personality was like. Now, after so long, he knew.
Clawspawn murred, eyes closing as he tilted his head upward. A chuckle escaped him. "The best two, eh?" Grinning, he licked Ace's ear and lay his head over his son's. "I... I'm sorry I wasn't there for you guys.." he wasn't sure if he'd apologized before, though it wouldn't be silly for him to apologize again. "If I'd just been there none of this would've happened. There'd be more than just the two of you, and Tai wouldn't have had the chance to have done what he did.." Anger touched his words near the end, but he didn't let it become overpowering. "It'd be nice to go back, fix some mistakes. Though if I'd have changed myself then, you might not be here.."
Wolfess. Alabaster queen strode around aimlessly. Wolfbane hasn't been the same since Taija and a few others had left, including Ace who was also off courting the other darker female. Wolfess wasn't jealous over the possibility of Ace getting a mate, she was just lonely and hadn't really spoken to him since his interest was sparked and renewed. he was her only real friend in this pack. With a chuff she lumbered through a patch of grass and stopped- A familiar scent touched it. Ace? She wasn't sure, but the bored shaman wanted to talk to someone. She trotted to the shore, following the trail. It was Ace alright, and another larger male. Now, she wasn't so sure if she should have followed them.. Lowering her head she cleared her throat to let the two know she was there. Oh gee, I hope Ace doesn't have my pelt for this..
Clawspawn looked down lovingly as he felt his son's body relax. Poor guy must'a fallen asleep. His ears shifted to the sound of one clearing their throat and he turned to see a white winged wolf. The scent that floating in his direction was of wolfbane, so he decided not to fret. "Hush," he chided in a powerful whisper. "He's sleeping," he'd add softly, looking down at the wolf who's markings opposed his own. He liked the feeling of peace this moment brought him.. Returning gaze to the female in inquired in a soft voice. "You're from wolfbane, yes?"
Acquiescent. Lime green oculars would flare into life as familiar sounds would be heard. Looking ahead, he'd spot the source of the noise. "Wolfess!" Standing, Male would attempt to leap into her in a leaping hug, pinning her to the ground and covering Alabaster face with many friendly licks. "Where have you been? I've been looking all over the place for you!" Pausing only to talk, male would continue incessent licking, before calming down after a moment or two Taking a seating, caudal would shake from side to side violently, before calming down, coming to rest and stilling once more. Tilting capitulum t'ward the ground, male would speak once more, this time in a more serious and depressing tone. "I'm sorry that I disappeared on you. I can't go back with the shame I bear from what Taija did to me. I truly am sorry, Wolfess."
Clawspawn flinched as Ace took such swift motion. Then a smile danced across his face. Ah, they were good friends. His head lowered as he watched the two, laying on the space still warm from where Ace's head had been. His tail swayed slowly behind him, he wondered what would become of the former wolfbane members. Perhaps he and ace could start their own pack, though he knew how hard and gruiling a task that would be..
Acquiescent. Smile would waver slightly as male nudged the female with his maw. After a moment, Male would stand, speaking. "I think my leaping hug knocked her out cold..." Sighing, male would move t'ward his former spot once more. He was tired from hunting most of the day, and now he had a fainted and an out cold female to deal with. Laying back down in the former position, Male would speak, closing lids over oculars once more, nuzzling into his father's warm chestfur. "Tell me, father... What was your sister like? Was she nice?" Maw would close together after speaking, tired mind awaiting an answer as Male lay in the warm, safe embrace of his father. It took his mind back to when he was a pup, still under the dafe guard of his mother. Large, long, warm tongue would cover his entire length as mother gave him warm licks. He felt safe in the paws of his father, just like he did with his mother. Small smile crept across Male's features as thoughts flowed, still listening out for his father's words.
Clawspawn chuckled, just like one of his spawn to unknowingly throw his weight around. "My sister?" His head tilted, "I suppose you could say so. As pups she seemed to be omega to the extreme. Fidgety, clumbsey. But I've seen her quite recently, though then she'd smelled wolfbane on me so our visit was breif. Now, she's a strong wolf, leader material. She's got a bit of an inner darkness, as I do, I suppose we get it from our... father..." he growled, his poor ma' having to deal with Blood and Claw, terrible hellspawn.
Ukranie woke, sunlight filtering in through the den, warming her back. The huntress blinked her silver eyes in an attempt to rid them of the few bits of drowsiness that still clung from her slumber. Uk stood and stretched, opening her jaws in a wide yawn. Seems like a nice day today. Perfect tempature, clear sky, wide ocean... The she-wolf paused mid-yawn. Ocean?? All of a sudden, memories of what had happened the night before flooded her mind in a rush. Ace had confessed to her. And she'd confessed back. But...then what? Oh, right....he asked me to leave Wolfbane and live with him. Uk's mind swam as she padded out of the den, greeted by the sea's salty air. But...what do I say? What DID I say? Oh, right. I passed out. The dire sighed, but paused when she heard voices. She glanced over at the shore to see two wolves standing there. Uk quickly recognized Ace, along with...Claw? The huntress shook her head, remembering that Claw was Ace's father as she trotted up to greet them.
Acquiescent. Capitulum would tilt at sounds of padding. It was Ukranie. "Ukranie!" Male would go to stand, and tempt at another leaping hug, but decided against it. Instead, Male nuzzled her affectionately, before returning to his father with her, gaze 'pon her as smile creeped across his face once more. Male felt bad that he kept greeting other people and leaving his father lying on his own, so decided to try and talk with both. Laying with both Ukranie and his father, Male would smile, speaking first to Ukranie, and then to Claw. "I missed you, Ukranie. What happened? You fainted when I asked you the question!" Turning to his father, Male would speak. "Ah, yes. Please, tell me a little about grandfather. What was he like?" Speaking to both at once would be harder and more confusing, yet nothing he couldn't deal with.
Ukranie smiled as Ace nuzzled her, and felt the smile broaden as she looked at Claw. The old wolf was snoring contentedly. A quiet laugh escaped her lips as she nudged her love "C'mon, let's let him sleep. We can talk in the den." Uk would then lead the male into the den, laying down on the pelts that she had been sleeping on earlier. If Ace laid down beside her, she would press up against him, resting her head on his shoulder. "So, last night you asked me....you asked me to leave Wolfbane." her voice carried a mix of emotions--pain, longing, confusion--as she spoke, although her face remained hidden behind the emotionless mask she usually wore. "I love you Ace, I really do, but...I can't abandon my pups. I can't leave Deitra and Harmonize." Uk's silver eyes lowered to the ground. "I'm sorry." she managed to choke out.
To Be Continued.
