Acquiescent. Male would place haunches to earth in seating. Sighing, he'd watch the sun begin it's slow ascent into the sky. Today was one of those days in which he contemplated things. "Is this what the mighty Wolfbane has to show for? Did I cause this to happen? Oh, Ukranie, Wolfess, give me strength." Tilting Capitulum to earth, Male would sigh once more. "No. It was Taija. He caused this." Name spewed out with a bitter tone. "Oh, Wolfess, you've healed my body, but my mind is being torn apart." He'd say to himself. He hadn't seen her for a while, but it brought comfort to use the name of a friend through fire and brimstone. Sliding down 'pon Frontals, Male would move to a laying position, pausing in silence once more as stone gaze reaffirmed itsself 'pon the sunset once more. "Fenris give me strength."
Wolfess. Ivory female trotted about the forest floor in search of herbs to re-stock on. Currently, alabaster queen was hunting for horsetail and yarrow, but currently in her maw were the amber-golden blossoms of Marigold. It's been few days since she's seen Ace, and a sunrise since her suggestion for an apprentice to Rafe. Thoughts ran through her head- Who'd make a suitable apprentice? Ace? No. He wasn't meant to be her student. Len? She's content with her current rank. Wolfess sat under a large pine. As soon as she did so, the sky opened up into a consistant downpour. The mouth of Wolfbane's den was not far off, so she wasn't too worried about running into trouble. Ears twitched, she felt someone was near. Sadly the rain stalled her from going to see- She didn't want her wings getting too wet.
Acquiescent. Male would sigh as Rain began to downpour. Audits flicking, sounds would be heard. A Rustle. Tilting Capitulum t'ward it's source, Male tried to think of who it could be, though he couldn't tell who it was. Standing, Male would go to investigate. Not a moment of walking and he'd find his answer. "Wolfess... I was just thinking about you." He sensed she was searching for something. Herbs, likely. Stepping forward, Male would stand next to her, blocking her from the weather, taking the rain on his pelt to keep the Alabaster female dry. Pointing t'ward a small patch of herbs, Male would speak. "Yarrow, with the leaves splayed near the base and Umbels of Alabaster and Pink, Comfrey, with it's Leaves like that of Dock and drooping, Bell-Like flowers, and Hemlock, with it's tall, shrub-like appearance, correct?" Indeed he was correct. He'd began to teach himself of many herbs without the aid of others, but merely wanted to impress her with some basic knowledge never taught by her. "And look over there. Bittersweet, a poisonous plant with dark purple flowers, a yellow Stoma, and petals curling back, am I right?"
Wolfess blinked, she got waves of emotional torrent from the feminine male. She followed him slowly to the den, unsure of how to take in these emotions, they reeked of negativity. Once in the den she sat a ways away from him, to avoid his sultry aura. It was tainted with hate, this much she knew. And for honest reasoning. Eyes unglazed by pity, she spoke slowly, "Acquiecent, What you're feeling are uncontrolled emotions. You're confused due to you're inability to accept what has happened, and to move on." She paused "Not to mention..You want revenge on Taija." She stared at him. If he were to deny this, she'd say, "Don't play stupid, child. It's written all over your face. You want to spill his insides for him taking your fertility." Lips curled as she became serious, "Even if he's a lowly dog, sniffing at the next petty bitch he sees, is it worth killing over a pair of lost balls?" Her words were harsh, but she did infact have a point. Was murder and potential foul family ties worth the bloodshed?
Acquiescent. Male would recoil slightly in disbelief. "No. No, No! I couldn't, I wouldn't. As much as I'd like to, I could never do such a thing!" Gaze would look to hers for lies. When there were none, Male would stand, backing away a little. "No... It's not true, I could never kill another Wolf out of desire for revenge. Never!" Turning, Male would go to run, tears welling up once more as he sped out of the den and over to his place of joy. Rain hid his tears as he passed by, sprinting as fast as he could. He wanted to be away. Away from the words, away from his thoughts, away from it all. Reaching the hill he favoured, Male would stand atop, Shouting hate at his Deities. "You've abandoned me, Fenris! Do you show no mercy?! Speak for yourself, coward!" Silence would pursue, only the incessent noise of Rain to fur and earth to be heard. Dropping Capitulum to Earth, Male would tear to himself. "Why... Why does it have to be me? Why do you have to do this to me? Can't you see it hurts others?! Ukranie, Wolfess, Rafelie! All of them have been hurt because of me! Go die, Fenrisbitch!"
Wolfess watched him run out with emotionless eyes. She chuffed a sigh and stood to follow. Using her wings to block most of the rain from her body, she used his shouts to guide her partially blind self to him. She stood to watch him, a sobbing, moping mess; "Fool! Don't blame your gods for this. What happened to you was the doing of a mortal- Taija. And what happened to your body was a birth fault. Don't blame the gods for misfortune on your petty problems!" she snarled and sat, tail curled over her paws- With her back to the wind, she cupped her wongs over her white body, "You say you couldn't kill anything, but you can. You Are A Wolf, Ace. You were bred to kill. In your right mind you wouldn't kill him, but you and I both know you have the potential to if you were to succumb to this growing rage inside your mind." She pinned her ears, and her expression became less angry, "I cannot help you cure your depressed anger, Child, that is your battle." She stood to walk back to fetch her herbs, calling over her shoulder, "Just be happy about what you do have, not what you lost. Those very wolves are only hurt if you allow them to."
Acquiescent. Male would twist capitulum in surprise to the words from one behind him. It was Wolfess, she'd chased him. Words would register, even if he did not want them to. "How can I fight an enemy that I have no knowledge of, Wolfess?! You can't fight a battle blindfolded! You know that!" Standing, Male would walk alongside the female, speaking as they went. "You, Ukranie and Rafelie have all been hurt because of what Taija has done. I can feel it in you. You're upset because of what's happened to Wolfbane." Male would pause, walking in silence a little before continuing. "I need guidance, Wolfess. I'm still young, and very much Naive. I've never been so angry at anything in my entire life, and it scares me how much this just wants to consume me and destroy everything in it's wake. I fear my rage, Wolfess. Although you can't stop my rage, can you atleast tell me why I'm afraid of this?"
Wolfess flicked her ears and whipped at him, forepaws used to lash at his face, yet not make contact at all, "Yet, even a blind wolf's head can still bite!" she shouted, speaking for herself. She dispised his feeling of weakness, when he was most certianly not, and the snide blind dog comment made her spit, "You stupid boy. I wasn't effected at all by this, I am drained by the emotions you children give off! I pity you, yes, but I'm not burdened by your family dramatics, for I've not been her but for a moon!" she scowled, "I will not help you, for it would make you more reliant on me. You need to look to those you love for plesent emotions. Forget about Taija. You want to kno why your sister hurts? For no one will let her forget about the horny mutt." She turned to walk, "Erase your mind of the misfortunes you've felt, replace them with fond memories. You've lost your right to breed, but you gained a possible mate and father." She looked at him, clouded pupils looked vacant, "I think that good outweighs all bad, Ace." Her voice was calmer now, and replaced with a kindness. Why was Wolf so battered? A good look over would tell that she was tired, and.. malnourished? Yes, Wolfess hasn't been eating.. Why? That will remain unanswered. Something troubles the Shaman. As she walked she stumbled over a fallen tree limb infront of her, catching herself so she wouldn't fall.
Acquiescent. Male would recoil at her paw, unexpected of such a reaction. Recovering, He'd return a gaze, replying to the offensive. "Hey! What was that for?!" Voice calmed as he listened to her words, sigh following up. "I guess it does. I'd never thought of it that way, before. Thank you for that, Wolfess." A moment's silence, and the female would trip. Moving to her aid, he'd nudge her up, getting a closer look upon the Alabaster Female. Standing firm, he'd speak once more. "Come here." Male would move gaze 'pon her frame, wandering it for a moment in observant behaviour. "You've not been eating. What's wrong?" He knew she wasn't ill, and it was obvious she had something upsetting on her mind. Standing in front of her, Male would wait for an answer. When none came, he would move toward her, offering a comforting nuzzle. "You know that you can tell me anything, Wolfess. Don't you dare forget that."
Wolfess chuffed and walked around him, disregarding that muzzle, "I'm fine, Ace, just leave it be," she scolded. The older female shook her wings and walked twoards her tree, getting sick of this rain soaking her pelt. She was acting very odd indeed, and there was obviously something wrong but there was no way she'd tell Ace. The tree was close, she spotted the looming blurr between rain sheets. Once under it's canopy, she sniffed for her herbs. Unfortunately, once she had them, she lifted her head into the tree's trunk. Falling back into a sulking heap, she winced at the pain breifly, "Damn trees.." she muttered between her flowers, only to get up again and walk into a low hanging branch of needles, "Adonis above!" she spat and sat down. If Ace were to approach, she'd give him no time to talk about her stumblings- "You should come back to Wolfbane."
Acquiescent. Male would stand and turn t'ward her as she walked past him. Listening to the female's words, he'd sigh. This was not the Wolfess he knew. There was something seriously wrong. Words would cross with her own as he tried to convince the female to tell him what was wrong. "Wolfess, you'll only get worse if you don't talk about it! Listen to yourself! The Wolfess I knew would never speak such words against the plants and environment. You need to get it out of you! If you won't talk to me as a Friend, then talk to me as a Family member, Pack or not!" Words would come blunt and to the point, gaze fixated on her ever worsening state, sighing as she spoke. "I know I should, and I want to! But I haven't been able to talk to Rafelie about it yet, and, unless the pack feel fine and comfortable around me, what's the point?" Male would move affront her, nudging her snout upward so her gaze met his. "I know you're not like this, Wolfess. Why won't you tell me what's wrong?"
Wolfess glared and recoiled, "I said leave it, Ace." as she spoke, her voice was ice. She couldn't talk to him about it until she spoke to Rafe. She snapped her attention, Rafe! yes she should be back by now. Shaking her head she looked at him, "Would you come with me to talk to your sister? I think you need to see her," she said calmly, "And for your dramatic record, I'm not swearing the tree. You've known me for a moon," ashs he walked by to head back to wolfbane, she swatted his cheek with her tail softly, "You don't know me well yet, you goon." She teased. She wasn't being vile, or obviously playful, just Wolf. Poor white female had a decent amount on her mind and it was making her irrational, but thankfully it was nothing personal with Ace.
Acquiescent. Male would sigh once more, moving to a standing and listening once more. Wandering t'ward the den with her, He'd speak in reply to her words. "I don't think she's back yet. That, or she's asleep. I was thinking that we could go and do something together. One of my favourite past-times is watching the sun set on the sea horizon. Although it's noon, I'd love it if you came." Male would pause, awaiting an answer. If the Female refused to go, he'd likely just go and do something else. He'd never spent much time with anyone recently, and since Ukranie was who knows where, Male figured that it'd be nice to spend the day with Wolf. "Besides, what harm can it do, eh?" Male would feint a smile, in an attempt to look a little happier in front of her.
Wolfess smiled at his offer, but had to nod her head no, "I'm sorry Ace, I'd love to, but not today." She trotted closer to the den, "It's too damn wet outside," she joked. Actually, Wolfess was exhausted. She wanted to sleep, in the warmth of her den, "Maybe you can come in and see some of your old packmates? I doubt they'd mind.." She offered the idea gently as she stood near the entrance. If anyone dared ambush Ace, she'd step in and be willing to take the blame. But considering he was the alphess's brother- A hostile confrontation was unlikely.
Wolfess. Ivory female trotted about the forest floor in search of herbs to re-stock on.
